PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable gas and fire alarm device capable of easily connecting a signal wire from a fire detection signal to a signal wire from the backside of a ceiling to be connected to an external output device by using a conventional fitting base. SOLUTION: A case main body is composed of a lower case 13 and an upper case 11, a printed circuit board 21 is housed in the case main body, and a fire sensor 23, a gas sensor 25, an alarm buzzer 26, an electronic component 24 and a lead wire 27b for an external output for outputting a fire detection signal to an external output device are mounted on the board 21. Then, a gas detection signal is outputted to a 1st lead wire 28b on the backside of the ceiling to be connected to the external output device through a signal terminal formed on the case 13 and a fitting base 17, a 2nd lead wire 28a on the backside of the ceiling to be connected to the external output device is pulled through the ceiling 19 to the fitting base side, and the wire 28a and the wire 27b from the board 21 are connected by crimp-style terminal connectors 33 and housed by a housing part 29 formed in a case main body.
