PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a strip line resonator which can have a high Q-value, actualizing the reduction of the transmission loss quantity by improving conductor loss. SOLUTION: This strip line resonator 1 has a ground electrode 4 formed on the surface of a dielectric block 2 and a belt-like strip line 3 formed inside opposite the ground electrode so that the strip line 3 is connected to the earth electrode 4 through via hole conductors 20 and 21 and the via hole conductors 20 and 21 have an elliptic or rectangular planar shape and are so formed that their long-diameter sides are directed perpendicular to the belt-like strip line 3.
