PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser oscillation frequency-stabilizing device in which a maximum sensitivity intrinsic to the device can be easily obtained independent of the characteristics of an optical member itself. SOLUTION: A laser oscillation frequency stabilizing device is equipped with a laser beam source 11 which projects a laser beam, a first polarized beam splitter 18, an absorption cell 19, a second polarized beam splitter 20, a first photodetector 26 which detects a first laser beam which has penetrated through the second polarized beam splitter 20 or has reflected from the beam splitter 20, a reflecting member 22 which vertically reflects a laser beam that has reflected from or penetrated through the second polarized beam splitter 20, a second photodetector 25 which detects a second laser beam that has reflected from the first polarized beam splitter after it has penetrated through the absorption cell 19 again from the direction opposite to the first laser beam, and a control 30 which fixes the oscillation frequency of the laser beam at the absorption spectrum of the absorption cell corresponding to the outputs of the first and second photodetector, 26 and 25.
