PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector improved so that severance of a conductor in a connector will not easily occur even if the cable is pulled strongly in repetition. SOLUTION: The sheath 1 of a cable 5 near its tip is cut off so that a conductor 4 and shield wire 6 are exposed, and the exposed shield wire portion of this cable 5 is folded back and pinched fast to the sheath surface using an earth clamper 7, which is hitched at the housing of a connector 2, and the conductor is put in loose condition and connected with a contact metal piece of the connector. In this electric connector, a wire 11 is interposed between the shield wire folded-back part not pinched by the earth clamper and the cut end of the sheath.
