PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector assuring an enhanced easiness to execute the installing works. SOLUTION: A connector housing 2 is furnished with terminal storage chambers 4 and rubber plug storage chambers 5 in communication with the terminal chambers 4, and a rubber plug 7 furnished with an electric wire inserting hole 7a is fitted by pressure into each rubber plug storage chamber 5 while a terminal 9 whereto an electric wire 8 is connected is stored in the terminal chamber 4, and the chambers 4 and electric wires 8 are sealed by the rubber plugs 7. Thus a waterproof connector 1 is completed. A rear holder 6 furnished with an electric wire inserting hole 6b is installed at the housing 2 on its side with the rubber storage chambers 5, and the rubber plug 7 furnished with wire inserting hole 7a having a greater inside diameter than the outside diameter of the electric wire 8 is formed consolidatedly in the wire inserting hole 6b in the rear holder 6 in such a way as protruding to the inside of the rear holder 6, and the seal part 7d of each rubber plug 7 is made compressible by part 5a of the rubber plug storage chamber 5 when the rear holder 6 furnished consolidatedly with the rubber plug 7 is mounted at the housing 2 on its side with the rubber plug storage chambers 5.
