BOARD MOUNTED TYPE PHOTOELECTRIC SWITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric switch directly mountable on a printed circuit board of control equipment. SOLUTION: This photoelectric switch 4 is constituted to form optical fiber lead-out holes 42 in the front face of a body case 41 of rectangular solid shape. A display LED 43 for displaying the operating state of the photoelectric switch 4, and a sensitivity adjusting mechanism 44 for adjusting sensitivity are installed at the upper face of the body case 41. A light projecting optical fiber 471 and a light receiving optical fiber 472 are led out of the optical fiber lead-out holes 42 formed in the front face of the body case 41. Printed circuit board mounting terminals 48 are installed at the bottom face of the body case 41. That is, the photoelectric switch 4 is mounted directly on a printed circuit board, and the mounting terminals 48 are soldered directly to the conductor part of the printed circuit board.
