PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent color image recording device with supreme maintenance property that the constitution of an intermediate transfer part is small and simple. SOLUTION: Developing units 1BK, 1Y, 1M and 1C, is respectively mounted to a supporting body from a cover 46 of the device top surface in a state in which the opening part is oriented upward, and rotated/shifted, arranged in the image forming position, and arranged opposite to a photoreceptor 9. The photoreceptor 9 housed in the unit, is inserted in the device from the opening/ closing part 47 on the device front side and guided to the developing position, and arranged opposite to the developing unit. The image developed on the photoreceptor 9 at the image forming position, is transferred to the intermediate transfer belt 32, and moreover transferred on recording paper by the second transfer roller 35. The cover is provided for developing unit 1BK, 1Y, 1M and 1C, and the shutter 48 for covering the photoreceptor is provided for the photoreceptor 9. |
