PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire miniaturizing an arm for supporting a lamp body without impairing the movement of an electric wire in the arm, and simplifying arm structure. SOLUTION: This luminaire comprises an arm 14 having an arm base 51, connected to a support 13 and a sliding arm 52, supporting lamp body 15 and longitudinally movable, while sliding the base 51. In this case, the tip part of an input electric wire 98 led in from the support is connected to a lighting device 16 in the arm 52, and an electric wire regulating protruding part 56b is provided at a cross direction center part in the base 51. A tip side electric wire part 98a positioned on the front side of the protruding part 56b when the arm 52 is moved to the front side is longitudinally moved in a cross direction one-side area ER in the base 51 with the protruding part 56b as a boundary, following the movement of the arm 52 so that the wired shape of the electric wire 98 in the arm 52 is changed into approximately a U-shape, when the arm 14 is shortened, and is extended into an oblique shape, when the arm 14 is lengthened, to allow extension of the arm 14.
