PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle collision alarm device which predicts the collision possibility of a self-vehicle and informs the following vehicle of starting an accident avoidance operation when a collision possibility is high. SOLUTION: This vehicle collision alarm device is provided with a distance detecting part 10 which measures a distance to a target in front of the vehicle, a travel state detecting part 20 which detects the speed of the self-vehicle, a controlling part 30 which discriminates the possibility that the self-vehicle collides with the front target by receiving signal inputs from a distance measuring means and a speed detecting means and an alarm informing part 40 which receives the signal input indicating a possible collision and outputs an alarm when this discriminating decides that there is a possibility of collision. When the part 30 detects that it is highly possible for the self-vehicle to collide with the target, the part 40 automatically emits an alarm the following vehicle so that the following vehicle can travel while taking the emergency operation of the preceding vehicle into consideration. |
