PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant temperature apparatus, for the test of a device with a heat generating property, by which the device can be cooled and fire- extinguished surely even when the device with the heat generating property generates heat or dissipates heat abnormally. SOLUTION: In this constant temperature apparatus 10, a testing chamber 12 whose circumference is surrounded with a heat insulating material, one side of which is provided with an opening and shutting door and in which a device 11 with a heat generating property is housed is provided, and an air conditioning means by which air 19 to be air-conditioned at a prescribed temperature is circulated to the testing chamber 12 is provided. The constant temperature apparatus has a structure wherein a water spraying means 22 which can spray water to the device 11 is installed inside the testing chamber 12, and a water storage part 29 in which the device 11 is submerged can be formed.
