PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reduction/magnification display device and a reduction/ magnification display method by which the size and position after reduction or magnification can be confirmed visually. SOLUTION: This device is obtained by improving a reduction and magnification display device for performing at least either one of reduction display or magnification display of display data. The device has an indicating means 30 for indicating two points of a display area, a range display means 11 for displaying a reduction destination range or a magnification origin range on a display area based on the two points of the indicating means 30, and a reduction/magnification display means 12 for reducing and displaying the display data on a display area with the scale factor of (reduction destination range)/(display area), or magnifying and displaying the display data on a display area with the scale factor of (display area)/(magnification origin range). |
