PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erect microscope which is constituted so that a lamp for a light source can be easily exchanged and which is excellent in productivity. SOLUTION: This erect microscope 1 is provided with a lamp for a light source 13 incorporated in a base part 10 and arranged on an optical axis of an objective lens 21. Besides, the base part 10 is provided with an almost U-shaped cross section so as to be opened upward. Then, the lamp 13 is arranged at the bottom board part of the base part 10 and a cover member 31 provided with a condensing unit 30 is attachably and detachably formed at the upper part of the base part 10.
