METHOD FOR FILLING HEAT STORAGE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance production efficiency and heat storage quantity. SOLUTION: Ceramic or material 19 thereof and fused salt 20 are heated at the melting point of the fused salt 20 or above and thrown into a mixer where they are mixed while keeping fluid state before filling an inner case. The work for filling the inner case with the heat storage material thereby simply requires to fill the inner case with the ceramic or material 19 thereof and the fused salt 20 premixed externally and uniformly. Since the operation manhour required for filling the heat storage material in the inner case is reduced and thermal capacity per volume is increased, production efficiency and heat storage quantity of heat storage unit are enhanced.
