[Class 20 (iii)] A pivoted-sliding sash is supported when pivoted in the frame by two rollers 7, 8 on pins on each side engaging a slotted plate 10 secured to the frame and having cam surfaces and stops 15, 16, 17 in the slot. The roller pins are mounted on angle reinforcements attached to the sash and the lower pin 9 is extended to provide a sash-cord attachment. An additional support for the sash when swung down consists of a pin 12 on a spring-controlled lever 11 pivoted in the frame, the pin being engaged by the sash as it is swung outwardly to rock the arm 11 into the arresting position shown. |
