PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set with a speaker holder, where a structure of a metal die of an upper cabinet is simplified and the service life of the metallic die can be prolonged. SOLUTION: A speaker 12 is inserted to a cylindrical speaker container section of an upper cabinet 10 and a speaker holder 13 of a circular cap shape in a tilted state is fitted to the speaker container section and turned counter clockwise to be locked and fixed to the upper cabinet 10. A U-shaped lock section 18 is projected from the outer circumference of the speaker holder 13 and the U-shaped lock section 18 clamps claws 19, 20 provided respectively to the upper cabinet 10 and a lower cabinet to couple the upper cabinet 10 and the lower cabinet.
