PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating cover for the tip of an electric wire whereto a rod-shaped crimp terminal is connected by pressure attachment. SOLUTION: A lid 6 coupled by hinge with a body 2 in such a way as capable of opening and closing is opened, and a rod-shaped crimp terminal A connected in pressure attachment to a strand conductor is inserted into a small diametric cylindrical portion 14 from a connection part storage chamber 13 provided in a core wire cover 11 in hinge coupling with the body 2 in such a way as capable of being folded and the tip is drawn out, and the lid 6 is shut and an engaging projection 3 provided on the body 2 is engaged with a groove 7 provided in the lid 6. Through this very simple procedure, the tip of electric wire is covered in insulation where the terminal A is connected in pressure attachment to the strand conductor.
