PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To share a switch by a plurality of rotors with different numbers of positions by dispersing and arranging the plurality of rotors with different maximum numbers of positions and a plurality of click stop generating mechanisms respectively applied to the plurality of rotors in one case, in a switch that rotates the rotors in the case and electrically outputs rotation angular positions of the rotors. SOLUTION: In a case of a rotor 2 for 8 positions, eight continuous crest-like projections and recesses and click stop crests 8b are formed in a half of the outer peripheral surface of a collar portion 8, and a plurality of circular-arc like contact pieces 9 with respective set lengths are exposed and wired on three streaks of imaginary concentric rings on the lower surface of the collar portion 8. In a case of a rotor for 29 positions, a plate spring 16 and a rigid sphere 15 perform a click stop operation according to 29 positions between them and the click stop crests of the rotor. A combination optimal for a pitch of the click stop crests of shape and size of a chamber of each click stop generating portion and the kind, shape, and elasticity of the spring, and size of the rigid sphere is selected, and this switch can be applied to two rotors with arbitrary numbers of positions.
