PURPOSE: An external motion picture realizing device for a midi compact disc player is provided to use various motion picture screens by outputting background screens according to the external motion picture data input to the midi CD player. CONSTITUTION: An external motion picture realizing device for a midi compact disc player includes an external motion picture signal input part(118) for receiving a motion picture signal from the outside, a synchronization signal separating part(119) for separating horizontal/vertical synchronization signals from each other in the input motion picture signal and controlling the synchronization required for displaying internal midi font data, an NTSC/PAL encoder(120) for carrying out encoding in synchronization with the internal mini font data by the synchronization signal input from the synchronization signal separating part and outputting image and voice signals, and an analog switch(121) for overlaying the external motion signal to the internal midi signal according to a switching control of a central processing unit(111) by receiving the motion picture signal from the external motion picture signal input part and the signal encoded in the NTSC/PAL encoder.
