<p>An electric receptacle having a case with insertion holes through which a plug's contacts are inserted, and contact terminals provided to the case's inside to be electrically connected with the plug's contacts, in which the contact terminals each have a plurality of terminal pieces each made of an elastic material in the shape of a circular arc, and radially arranged and become apart from each other by an elasticity when inserting the plug's contacts to the receptacle, and clamping members fixing the terminal pieces. An electric receptacle including a case having rectangular insertion holes into which at least two contacts of a plug with a given interval therebetween are inserted, at least two supporting members slidably installed in the case, and contact terminals each having a contacting portion fixed onto the respective supporting members and holding the inserted plug's contacts, and a slanting portion provided to each contacting portion's upper part, and guiding the plug's contacts, inserted through the insertion holes, to the contacting portion, in which the supporting members slide by a pressure produced when inserting the contacts and applied to the slanting portions, thus making the contacts be inserted into the contacting portions.</p> |
