The cleaning device is for an automatic drink supply for young animals in which hot water (14) from a heater (13), cold water from a supply (10) and dry food (16) are fed to a mixer (15) and the mixture is fed via a pipeline (33) to a teat (35). A branch pipe (38) is connected to this pipeline near the teat and there is a valve between the two. An injector (32) is fitted to the branch pipe which is connected to a pressure pipeline running parallel to the pipeline which runs to the teat. The other end of the pressure pipeline is connected via a control valve to the cold water supply.
