<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the labor and time for switching mask mode. SOLUTION: This data recording and reproducing device is provided with a data storage means for storing lots of material data including video data, a preview means for reproducing and previewing an arbitrary material data stored in the data storage means, and an operation terminal for supplying a user interface for selecting a kind of mask frame outputted before and after the material data at the time of previewing, and the user interface is provided with controls (922g, 922h) for selecting the mask frame. The device permits selection of mask frame by using the controls (922a, 922h) on the user interface, and this reduces a time for selecting a mask frame, compared with selection operation by using function keys.</p> |
