PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user possible to quickly perform selection operation by shortening the moving distance of a pointer. SOLUTION: A video display part is provided on a screen of a display monitor and a controller (a video operation part) C22a where various kinds of buttons 101 to 109 for controlling reproduction operation of a video to be displayed to this video display part are displayed is provided. Frequency information of a button which is press operated next is held in a memory in a computer which controls a whole system every button (a selection item) in the controller C22a and this frequency information is updated every time press operation of the button is performed. When a pointer PNT is moved to a specified button position of the controller C22a and the button is pressedly operated, the button next press frequency of which is the highest is specified on the basis of the frequency information corresponding to this specified button and the pointer PNT is displayed to this button position.
