<p>An improved medical bedding, wherein a water-impermeable, non-breathable synthetic-resin film (142) is set on the surface of a natural-rubber mat material (141) constituting a mattress (140) so as cover the entire mat material (141) including at least its upper surface, the mat material (141) that constitutes the mattress (140) being formed with holes (143) extending upward from the under-side of the mat material (141) in its thickness direction but not reaching the upper surface of the mat material (141). Such arrangement prevents liquid such as sweat, excreta or blood from permeating into, and bacteria, germs, mites and the like from entering into, the mat material (141). In addition, a pressure applied from the mattress (140) using the mat material (141) can be kept lower than a blood pressure in capillary vessels to thereby allow blood to circulate smoothly and prevent bedsores.</p> |
