摘要 A force is applied to a pressure sensor (7) by an operator to actuate the safety switch. The sensor is connected to an electronic evaluation circuit (9) for evaluating the switching states based on the load values detected by the sensor. A mechanical actuating member may be provided for the sensor. The actuating member is moved relative to the sensor based on the operator's desired switching state. Independent claims are included for a manual operating device for robots and for a method of determining the possible switching states of a safety switch, such as rest state, permission state or panic state.
