The invention relates to a connector system for coaxial cables (4, 6) that comprises a first electric connector (3) and a second electric connector (2, 5) and a jack housing (1) into which the both connectors (3; 2, 5) can be inserted and thus contacted with each other. The jack housing (1) is provided with respective primary securing devices (8, 18) for the first and the second electric connector and additionally with a secondary securing device (11) for the first electric connector. According to the invention, the second electric connector (2, 5) can only be inserted into the jack housing (1) once the secondary securing device (11) is locked.
