<p>A correction value for correcting the error of the recording position in the direction of the horizontal scanning is determined with reference to a representative nozzle array in a predetermined region near the center out of the nozzle arrays that a print head has. The correction value is determined according to a misregistration check pattern printed by a representative nozzle. The error of the recording position along the horizontal scanning in bidirectional printing is corrected according to the correction value.</p> |
