Automatic compilation of digital versatile discs (DVDs) according to user input, requires control of the individual components of the compilation by a central computer, and the user input follows directly e.g. via a touch-screen monitor with the user selection listened to via the loudspeaker. The output of an optical storage medium follows automatically on the DVD writer in the output channel.
