A door having a rectangular trimmable foamed extruded PVC frame (3), typically having a polyurethane foam interior. A preferred embodiment has front (1) and rear panels (2) and contains elongate support means (6) such as steel U shaped channels with aperture (22) for allowing a lock to be fitted therein. A textured virgin PVC layer (4) and optional weatherproof coating can be coextruded with the frame (3). An analogous trimmable door frame is also provided.
