<p>The invention relates to a terminal (3) for controlling intelligent cards and an encrypting chip (13), both connected to the CPU (2) of the machine. Said terminal (3) receives a card (4) constitutive of a security module provided with a secret and master key (6) which, through an algorithm (7) and from the serial number (10) of the machine, is capable of generating two keys (11 and 12) which are usable to modulate a second algorithm (16) established in the encryptor chip (13) which contains other keys (14 and 15) introduced at the time of programmation of the software supplied by the administration and which must match with the former keys when recognizing the machine by the control terminal and vice-versa. A unique user card, also connected to the terminal (3), bears the date, operation time period and, as a function of said data, the machine will enable playing or will prevent from using the playing system when the date is expired.</p> |
