The measurement arrangement has a sensor for detecting the position of one inlet valve and a lift plateau (124) on one cam (123) on one camshaft (12) that actuates the valve detected by the sensor, whereby the plateau causes a maximum valve lift for a defined setting of the adjustment mechanism used to calibrate the sensor.
