The knives have an associated lower oil chamber and a lubricating felt pad connected to it. The oil chamber (1) contains at least one long horizontal chamber (6) open towards the front wall, for positive retention of the plug-in felt pads (9). Each chamber and felt pad has an associated stop rail (7), which forms an oil feed opening (8) in connection with the oil chamber. The felt pad consists of several separate solid felt rods.
