The invention relates to a method for comminuting bulk material or a granulate, in which the material to be milled is introduced into a mill together with a propellant. In said method, milling bodies (35), in particular balls, are maintained in a fixed or fluidised bed in the mill. The propellant which is charged with the bulk material or the granulate is expanded or evaporated in the chamber containing the milling bodies (35) and the milled material is removed from the mill using a separator (37). The corresponding device comprises a milling chamber which is at least partially filled with milling bodies (35). At least one connection or a pressure-resistant conduit for introducing the material to be milled and the propellant and at least one conduit (36) for removing the milled material are connected to said chamber. |
