<p>Methods and compositions for modulating plant cell cycle, DNA metabolism, and pathogen defense are provided. Nucleotide sequences encoding maize retinoblastoma binding proteins are provided. The sequence can be used in expression cassettes for modulating DNA replication, DNA repair, recombination, and pathogen defense. Transformed plants, plant cells, tissues, and seed are also provided.</p> |
