The panel comprises: (1) a lining carrier part (6) with reinforcing elements (7) on the front face; (2) a foamed core (17); and (3) an outer skin. Fixing pins (8), comprising press-in screws, are pushed through recesses (9,10) in the carrier part and reinforcing elements before foaming of the rigid core and protrude from the rear side giving a foam tight seal. An Independent claim is made for a process for producing the internal lining panel.
