PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a natural appearance and a light display by specifying an angle of each valley-shaped slant on the surface of a substrate to the surface of the substrate, specifying the size of each valley and the interval between valleys and forming interval distribution. The whole is then immersed in the etching solution 13. The surface of the substrate except parts with the patterns 12 is etched only in a specified direction to form recesses 14 and the recesses are slowly deepened to form V-shaped valleys 15. The V-shaped valleys are made different in size by varying the interval and a surface with V-shaped valleys arranged at different intervals is formed by varying the width of the stripe patterns themselves.
