<p>The invention concerns a method for displaying, measuring the size and individually counting inclusions suspended in a moving liquid metal (7), using a sensor comprising at least means (1) for emitting successive ultrasonic beams inside said molten metal, at least means (2) for receiving echoes reverberated by said inclusions, and their accessories. The invention is characterised in that it comprises a step which consists in calibrating the sensor response, said step using at least a calibrating echo sounder (10) of known dimension of reverberated echoes, a step for displaying, such a B-scan, and an image analysing step to count and measure the diameter of the inclusions.</p> |
