Refuse collection with system for recording weight collected for individual users and also having extra method for monitoring weight over given period to detect any weight fluctuation that might be due to living organism

Procedure in which when rubbish has been inserted (6) in a container (5) the container is closed and sealed off. The weight of the container is measured and assigned to a particular user for central recording. The rubbish is held in the container for a time interval to ensure that the weight does not change before being forwarded into a crusher (2) or similar to reduce the volume of the rubbish. If the weight fluctuates then it indicates that a live organism is moving about in the rubbish. Refuse processing can be stopped preventing serious injury or death to any live organism in the rubbish. An Independent claim is made for a refuse collection arrangement for use with the procedure.
