The invention concerns an in-line rind-forming machine (10) for products (P) comprising a chamber (16) provided with means (60) supplying frigories for providing products (P) with rind formation, an intake (20) for inserting products provided with a closing flap (24), an outlet (22) for removing the products provided with a closing flap (26), and means (40, 42, 50) for moving the products step by step in the chamber (16) from the intake (20) towards the outlet (22). The machine comprises means for sequentially opening the intake (20) and the outlet (22) of the chamber, such that, either the intake (20) or the outlet (22) is open at any given time, and the means moving the products step by step comprise at least two successive conveyors (40, 42) moving forward step by step for moving the products from the intake to the outlet and means (50) for transferring the products from the first conveyor (40) to the second conveyor (42). |
