The invention concerns a fuel injection valve (1) in particular a fuel injection valve designed for an internal combustion engine fuel injection system. Said fuel injection valve comprises a closure (11) capable of being actuated by an actuating device, using a valve needle (12), co-operating with a valve seat surface (10) to form a sealed zone. The actuating device has, for lifting the valve needle (12), at least a first piezoelectric bending element (16) which curves when the actuating device is actuated. Said bending element (16) consists of several piezoelectric elements (58a - 58e) stacked in its longitudinal direction (57), between which are arranged internal electrodes (59a - 59e) oriented perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction (57) of the bending element (16).
