AUTOMATIC QUICK FREEZING

In the refrigerator of the present invention, a freezer compartment sensor is provided to determine the average temperature in the freezer compartment and a quick freeze compartment sensor is provided in the quick freeze compartment. When the quick freezing is not carried on and the freezer compartment door is closed, the time-dependent change in the temperature values detected by the freezer compartment sensor and by the quick freeze compartment sensor is negligible. The quick freeze compartment sensor is placed under a metal plate at the bottom of the quick freeze compartment. The user opens the freezer compartment door and puts food into the quick freeze compartment found in the said freezer compartment and closes the freezer compartment door. After these operations the user does not interfere with the quick freeze function and the quick freeze operation is carried out automatically.
