PURPOSE: A charging method of a CDMA communication system is provided to discriminate whether a telephone call is performing really or an error is generated in the system by identifying the existence of telephone call from TSB(Transcoder and Selector Bank) when a call is occupied for a long time, thereby preventing the charging error or the waste of call sources. CONSTITUTION: A mobile telephone exchange(10) controls wholly the mobile telephone system. A call control processor(20) performs a call connection control function and a soft hand-off control function within the BSC(Base Station Controller) and an information exchanging function and a wire/wireless call matching function between BTS and TSB. The TSB(30) performs soft hand-off processing function, power control function, audio modulation/demodulation function, link matching function with MSC, non-audio service processing function, and a CAP signal processing function and a call control function to a mobile station.
