MODULAR HELMET

The invention concerns a modular helmet, with a basic helmet (2) and a module (3) comprising between said two parts two lateral linking device (4, 5) and an upper linking device (6). Said linking devices comprise a catch finger integral with the module (7 to 9) driven into a socket integral with the basic helmet (10 to 12) and capable of being locked in assembled position of the helmet by a quarter turn device. The lateral catch fingers allow a slight clearance between the two parts of the helmet. The invention is applicable to an aircraft pilot's helmet.
