<p>The present invention relates to a method for the monitoring of anti-HBV drug resistance in a patient by genetic detection of at least one of the mutations L528M, M552V/I and/or V/L/M555I in the DNA polymerase of the HBV strains present in a biological sample of said patient. The present invention provides new HBV DNA polymerase sequences to be used for the design of new probes allowing a very specific and sensitive detection of anti-HBV drug resistance.</p> |
