<p>A clamp (10) for holding elongated objects having a generally U-shaped trough (18) for receiving the object to be held and a pair of substantially flat tabs (12, 20) extending from opposite sides of the trough (18) proximate to an upper end of each side thereof. At least one of the pair of tabs (20) preferably has a hinge (26) to render it bendable to bridge over the trough (18) and underlay the other of the pair of tabs (12) in substantially parallel relationship thereto, closing said U-shape to form a D-shape. Tab alignment structures (30, 32) are provided for establishing and maintaining the position of the one tab (20) relative to the other (12) when the one tab (20) underlays the other (12). A ring (34) on one tab (12) is received in a mating receptacle (32) in the other (20).</p> |
