Weighted golf club extension apparatus

A tubular extension E for the handle or gripping end C of a golf club, the extension being 1 to 6 inches in length and carrying a weight of 25 to 200 grams is fixed or adapted to be fixed in alignment with the vertical or longitudinal axis of the golf club shaft S. Optionally the extension can be a continuation of a hollow golf club shaft or alternatively may have adapter means to secure the extension to the club shaft. Preferably the extension is from 3 to 5 inches in length and the weight is between 50 and 100 grams and may be hollow. The extension may be applied to a golf club which is a wood, an iron or a putter.
