<p>A tray suitable for collecting fluid waste underneath a railway carriage comprises an elongate generally planar member(10)(11), formed with a drainage hole providing a waste conduit from an upper side of the member to a lower side of the member, which conduit is provided at a lower side end region thereof with engagement means permitting connection to a sewage suction pipe (30), wherein an upper surface of said member is formed with a configuration which is generally concave and inclining towards the hole, thereby providing gravity feed of fluid waste falling onto the surface to the drainage hole for removal to the suction pipe.</p> |
