The present invention relates to nucleoside analogs of the general formula I Nu-O-Fa, in which individual symbols have meaning indicated in the main claim. These substances exhibiting antiviral activity can be used for preparing pharmaceutical preparations intended for treating viral infections such as AIDS, hepatitis B, herpetic diseases, gynecologic malign tumors provoked by formation of papillomas and the like. These pharmaceutical preparations form part of the present invention, too.
