In the present invention there is disclosed the use of benzothiophene derivative of the general formula I, in which Re1 and Re3 represent independently on each other a hydrogen atom, methyl or the group of the general formula {-CO-(Ci1-Ci6alkyl)} or {-CO-Ar}, in which Ar represents phenyl or a phenyl group being substituted once or twice with an alkyl group containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms, alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, hydroxy group, nitro group, chlorine atom, fluorine atom or tri(chloro or fluoro)methyl group, and Re2 is selected from a group comprising pyrrolidine group, hexamethylenimino group and piperidino group, or pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof, for preparing a pharmaceutical preparation intended for inhibition of imperfect tissue repair, physiological condition connected therewith, as well as well as pathological consequences, complications or syndromes of diseases or conditions.
