A reactor for the water vapour reforming of methanol operates in two stages (7, 8) accommodated within a single reactor housing (1). The 1st stage (7) is on the gas inlet (3) side and the 2nd stage (8) is directly connected to it. Both stages are filled with catalyst (13). One of the stages is heated and the other remains unheated. |
