<p>The invented combustion chamber of a solid fuel burning boiler based on the principle of underfeed is characterized in that it is provided with a ceramic catalyst (1) made of special refractory concrete. The catalyst (1) plates divide the whole ground plan section of the combustion chamber at such a height above a burner (3) that flame leaving the burner (3) active portion (31) reflects from the catalyst (1) back onto the burner (3) afterburning portion (32). Space between the ceramic catalyst (1) plates and the burner (3) forms an afterburning chamber (5) from which the combustion products are removed through passages (11) performed in the catalyst (1) into a heat exchanger (2).</p> |
